My name is Anita. I first started raising rabbits in 1987 when a
mixed dwarf was given to me as a gift. The first breed I raised
and showed was Netherland Dwarfs in Sable Martin, and
Siamese Sable. Hollands caught my eye in 1988 so I switched
and sold all the Dwarfs at that time. I still love Hollands but
did get a bit bored with Tort so I found Sable Point, Siamese
Sable and a Steel to work with as well.

In 2000 I had moved to Minnesota and found Lionheads! My
first purchase of them was is 2001 with the first colors being
Chocolate and Black. Soon after I purchased stock from Gail
Gibbons and Bob Whitman. I moved back to Indiana in 2003
with the Lionheads and Hollands in tow.

In 2005 I went through rough times with diagnosis of
Scleroderma and RA. It and my personal life caused me to
choose to get out of bunnies in the fall of 2006. I am happy to
say that though I still have these diseases, I am doing better at
coping with them. I miss the bunnies so I am starting out small.

So stating all that, I have been raising bunnies for 22+ years
and have enjoyed them dearly. More importantly I have met so
many good people along the way. Coming back has allowed me
make new friends in the rabbit world and to see old friends too!
